HELP & AVAILABILITY

Keep the next
step clear.

What you can do, where your work is saved, and how to recover when something goes wrong.

What is available here?

  • Explore the example or draft and download your brief without an account.
  • Account project saving: sign in, then review your brief before saving. It is saved to your account only after a successful save is confirmed.
  • New research: currently unavailable here. You can still explore the example and prepare a brief.
  • Public checkout is not open. Drafting or saving does not charge you.

Creating an account does not automatically grant research access. Existing work has its own progress and results in your projects.

Where does my brief go?

A guest draft is stored in this browser when browser storage is available. On a shared device, restore a draft only if it is yours. Download or discard it when you are done. Browser storage can be cleared by the browser and does not synchronize between devices.

Choose Download my draft even if the idea is unfinished or an amount still needs correction. If browser storage fails, the current inputs can be kept temporarily in this tab when you move between pages; choose Restore draft when you return. That temporary copy does not survive closing or reloading the tab. Keep a downloaded file before leaving. An unreadable stored original is protected until you explicitly replace it, and can be downloaded separately.

When you explicitly save a project after signing in, the brief and attached notes are sent to the server and associated with your account. Open Projects to return to saved work. A failed server save is not reported as saved to your account.

If a project save is interrupted, return to the new-idea page in the same account and choose Recover an earlier save, then Check earlier save. An unconfirmed result does not mean it stopped. Restore and review the original inputs to retry with the same reference, or review Stop this unresolved save before starting a separate draft. An already saved project is kept. A confirmed stop prevents a delayed request from creating it.

Save references survive reload and sign-in in the same tab when browser storage works. If it is blocked, keep a save-recovery download before submitting. Restore that file in the same account to check the outcome; it does not itself submit or replace your brief. The file can contain private original inputs and notes. A metadata-only copy cannot reconstruct a missing brief, and closing or clearing the browser can remove its tab reference.

How do I keep a draft through sign-in?

Review your brief, then choose Sign in to save this brief. After signing in, restore your own draft and review it before saving to the account. If browser storage is unavailable, download the brief before leaving. On the new-idea page, choose Restore a downloaded brief, inspect the file, then confirm replacement of the current draft. You can restore unfinished inputs and correct them afterward. Restoring inputs does not save a project, start research or use an allowance.

Can I edit the brief?

Yes. Open the project and choose Edit brief, then Review changes. You can compare the saved and proposed values and see which results will need review before saving. Changing only the project name does not invalidate existing research; changing research inputs creates a new brief revision. Prior results keep their original inputs and remain readable. If another device changed the project, load the latest context and compare it with your retained draft. Keeping your edits preserves unrelated newer fields; review overlapping changes before saving. Saving the brief does not start research or use an allowance.

Download your edits keeps an unfinished private edit outside the page. To recover it, choose Restore downloaded edits in the brief editor and inspect the proposed inputs. For a matching project, applying only the marked edits preserves unrelated current fields. A file’s project and version references are information to review; they do not change the open project or authorize saving. Review changes again before saving.

How do I add notes, links and research files?

Open Add evidence and existing notes while drafting. Add up to ten sources: pasted notes, interview notes, public links, supported UTF-8 text/Markdown/CSV/JSON/YAML, or selectable-text PDF. Files are read on your device, with a preview and page, line or CSV-record locations. No linked website is fetched automatically. Scanned PDFs need a text/OCR copy; DOCX is unsupported.

Each original can be up to 2 MiB, with 4 MiB of originals per collection. Choose relevant sections or edit an excerpt within 64 KiB per source; partial extractions are labeled. While a file is being read, you can keep typing or cancel it. Failed and image-only files stay unresolved until retried or removed. Other sources and brief fields are kept. Draft downloads retain originals and unfinished source states for review after restoration.

Saving a project stores the originals and reviewed text in your account. On Research, use Add source files and a collection to add more sources, reviewing and saving one at a time. Inspect saved extraction and Download original file preserve the exact saved revision. A project retains up to 8 MiB of original files; withdrawing a source excludes it from future assessment inputs while retaining its history and original. Source additions require a separate assessment scope review and do not start research or use an allowance.

What if an assessment fails or its status is uncertain?

Return to the project’s assessment status and check the existing run. Use its original retry or cancellation controls instead of submitting another assessment. A technical retry retains its reservation. An unconfirmed start or stop may still settle, so keep its reference and check again; cancellation is complete only when the service confirms it stopped.

Open Help with this assessment from the support-reference section for the recovery guide and an optional support note. You can also open Help from the workspace header without leaving your edits. Include project or assessment references only after reviewing them; private project content is excluded by default. A note is not submitted automatically. Download before reloading or signing out.

What should I do when research needs answers?

Read the actual questions and retained provisional research in the paused assessment. Draft answers, then review their effect before saving. Saved answers become founder-supplied inputs and are not independently verified. Saving closes the paused run and releases its reservation. Research does not resume automatically; review a fresh scope when you are ready.

How strong is the evidence?

Research separates supported findings, assumptions, gaps and contradictions. Inspect the exact cited source revision, date, excerpt and limitations. Retrieval or a text match verifies access to particular text, not the truth or commercial significance of the claim. Reported confidence and source quality are judgments that still need review.

Use the open challenges and validation tests to investigate a material uncertainty. Founder observations, generated assessments and independent checks stay distinct. Evidence that contradicts a claim should affect the decision rather than disappearing into a completion score.

What do the financial numbers mean?

Decision shows the assumptions and deterministic calculations behind the economic result. Missing inputs stay unknown. A scenario compares changed assumptions and cash timing; it does not prove demand or guarantee revenue. Review what the chosen business model supports before interpreting its outputs.

Saving or selecting an economic scenario does not silently rewrite the assessment. Review an analysis update if you want a revised recommendation. Your founder direction stays a separate decision.

Is a hold or no-go a completed result?

Yes. A useful hold or no-go is a completed assessment with its reasons, uncertainty and next evidence to collect. You can read and export it without buying a plan. Review the blockers and proposed tests, then record your own direction separately from the generated recommendation. Stopping with a useful saved result can be a successful outcome.

How do I read or download the result?

Open Files to read supported documents or download the saved assessment bundle. Select the saved version you need; older work retains its original context and dates. Project data and Account data provide application-data archives, with their own stated exclusions. Separately stored native files, public-site bytes and provider-held copies may need separate handling. Private downloads should be kept securely and reviewed before sharing.

How do I improve the wording of a saved result?

Open a document in Files and choose Edit wording or read saved narrative revisions. Select a section, explain the change, review the comparison and save a founder-authored copy. The generated original stays available. Wording edits use no assessment allowance and keep the generated recommendation, source checks and calculated numbers intact. Change numeric assumptions in Economic scenarios before requesting revised analysis.

In Review your export, expand Include founder-edited copies and choose the exact saved versions to add alongside the generated originals. Review the changed wording and confirm the selection. Edit reasons are private notes and stay excluded unless selected separately. A copy based on a different original needs review and merging before export. The ZIP includes labeled reading paths for both copies and originals; it does not label edited wording as newly verified analysis.

Can I request a rewrite of one section?

Eligible accounts can request an AI wording proposal from a delivered document’s narrative controls. Choose a section, describe the change, then review the exact private draft shared with the editor. One assessment allowance is reserved at start and consumed when a validated proposal is delivered, even if you leave it unused. Technical retries retain that reservation. Availability and allowance eligibility are checked before work starts.

Compare the proposal with its original and your current draft. If you edited that section while waiting, replacing it requires an explicit choice; other current sections stay intact. Using a proposal changes only the unsaved draft. Review the full comparison and save a separately labeled revision when ready. The generated assessment, source checks and calculated numbers remain available. New research or a changed recommendation/model needs its own reviewed workflow.

AI wording still needs factual review: preserving numeric and link tokens does not prove meaning or source support. Saved copies retain their AI origins. A selected ZIP copy is labeled AI-assisted, while rewrite instructions are not added as metadata to that handoff. Review the selected wording for private text. Full private project/account archives include retained instructions and proposals. If a start is unconfirmed, keep its recovery file and check or prevent that exact reference before changing scope.

How do I see what changed?

For an idea assessment, open Decision → What changed? → Compare saved versions. Choose an earlier and a later version to inspect the recommendation, recorded reasons, claims, economic assumptions and document text. A saved version can contain edits to the same earlier assessment; the comparison labels that separately from different saved research runs. It keeps the founder’s direction separate from the generated recommendation.

From a preserved Files version, Compare with latest saved context opens that pair. Older history can be loaded in pages, and changed claims can be searched. If a selected version is unavailable, choose another; the current project and open decision draft stay unchanged. The comparison does not restore a version or start research. Download comparison keeps a readable report; original attachments and document bodies are excluded, and changed brief/customer inputs need a separate opt-in.

Can I update the analysis without repeating research?

For an eligible delivered assessment, open Decision → Update the analysis. Describe the requested change, then review the scope: the saved research is retained with its original dates, while the recommendation, validation suggestions and two economics files are revised. A changed brief or new research inputs require fresh research instead.

Each requested update uses one assessment allowance after explicit scope review. It is reserved on start and consumed on validated delivery, including a useful hold or no-go. Technical retries keep the same reservation; use the original run’s recovery controls for a technical failure. Earlier results remain available. Reviewing an update starts no work, and live execution remains subject to account access and service availability.

How do I bring validation results back?

For an idea assessment, open Research → What will you test next? Start from a suggested action or define a different test. Keep up to three active tests, with the assumption at risk, method, support and contradiction criteria, estimated effort and limitations. A saved plan does not change the assessment or start research.

Choose Record an outcome to enter what happened, its date and your positive, negative or inconclusive interpretation. Link exact saved source revisions where useful. Completion does not mean the hypothesis is supported. Completed observations become founder-supplied inputs requiring assessment; they are not independently verified and do not rewrite the recommendation automatically. Negative results still needing verification cannot support an unqualified go.

Earlier plans, criteria and observations remain in private research history. Editing source notes does not silently replace evidence already linked to a test. Withdrawal removes a test from future inputs while retaining history. Same-tab drafts stay with the signed-in account; download before reloading or signing out. Saving or withdrawing starts no research, spending, sharing or publication.

Can I use saved work for another idea?

For an accessible saved project, choose Use as a new idea from Projects or its overview. Review the new name and brief, then choose whether to include capital, attached notes and current founder sources. The new project starts as an independent assessment draft, with the sources’ original text, dates and revision references. Research results, decisions and public sites are excluded. Creating the draft leaves account allowances unchanged; research is a separate authorized step.

If creation is not confirmed, use Check copy status or Retry same copy. The page keeps its copy reference for recovery after reload. Changes and removal are separate for each project: removing the original does not erase inputs you deliberately copied into another idea.

For an eligible assessment, scope review asks for a public research topic and shows the buyer and market wording. You can edit those descriptions and inspect the four queries before confirming. The query plan contains those public terms; it does not add the private brief, attachments or founder notes. The analysis provider still uses your reviewed private inputs. Confirming this scope does not publish your project. The terms stay with the run record and are included in private project and account data archives.

If a start is not confirmed, check its status or use Retry same start. The submitted terms and reference stay locked until that start is reconciled. Editing a new scope requires renewed confirmation.

What if saving fails?

Keep the form open, check your connection, and retry. You can also download the brief. If your session expired, sign in and restore your own draft. A storage outage will not silently create a separate local project and call it an account save.

How do I control project data?

For a saved project, open Project data to download that project’s data archive, archive the project or request removal. Read the scope and status shown there: a pending request does not mean every copy has been removed. Downloaded files and copies held outside the project require their own handling.

How do I export or request removal of account data?

Open Account data from Projects or the project menu. The account archive includes accessible project history, inline assessment files and retained application metadata. Separately stored native files, published-site bytes, account-provider records, external provider copies, backups and protected operational audit scopes need separate handling. Content already marked for project removal is excluded.

Review the current account scope before saving a removal request. This pauses new assessment starts while keeping existing funded work and downloads available. It does not automatically cancel current research or complete deletion. Use project controls to cancel ongoing work when needed. Retention periods and the completion date require manual review; no fixed date is promised here. A request must not be treated as fulfilled while a public release remains accessible.

If the request or cancellation is unconfirmed, keep its submission reference and check its saved status. Retry the same action; cancellation prevents a delayed original request from taking effect. A saved request also has a support reference. Do not send private archive contents with a support request.

Avoid including passwords, API keys or sensitive personal records in a brief or attachment.

How can I get help?

A public support contact is not available here yet. If you received an invitation, use the contact details supplied with it. You can keep a downloaded brief and inspect the public example while account or research access is unavailable.
